In recent years there has been a growing discussion on    or not video games affect a player's behavior and attitude. Since the early 1980s, links between video games and addiction, aggression, violence and sexual morality issues have been debated.

Some believe that video games have the ability to change the gamer's personality and actions.   , they wouldn't try to emulate violent behavior. Since the late 90s, some acts of violence have been highly publicized because the perpetrators had a history of playing video games containing violent elements. They also believe that    governments strengthen their regulations, violent crimes as a result of playing video games will continue to happen.

Others believe that opponents will blame video games for poor behavior    there are other factors that may have led to those actions. They argue that    a conclusive link isn't drawn between video games and violent behaviors, people should continue to play them at will.
